Call for nominations: The Rafto Prize 2025
Each year we award a person or an organization who stands up for human rights and democracy with the Rafto Prize. We encourage everyone with an interest in human rights to make a nomination. The annual deadline is 1 February.
In 2024, the Rafto Prize was awarded to cuban artist and human rights defender Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara. He recived the prize due to his steadfast resistance against an authoritarian regime through art.
